A Biblical Journey

To many people, their books of worship are sacred, and represent what happened in the distant past.

But to me, we are all on a biblical journey now and we create modern history in the moment. If so, what history are we creating?

Is it a history of greed, wars, havoc, threats, fear and sorrow as so often occurred in the past? Is it a history of blame and revenge? Is it a history of willful ignorance and apathy?

Or is it a history that capitalizes on modern technology and communications to bring forth our greatest values: Love, compassion, forgiveness and generosity where we reach out to help our fellow man rather than trying to destroy him?

The choice is ours and the decision as to which course to follow begins with you and me and the actions we take, as we set an example for our children and in every other life we touch.
