In Libya, President Obama Promised "No Boots On The Ground"

But that has already happened. A U.S. jet crashed in Libya and both servicemen were picked up by U.S. forces. http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/africa/03/22/libya.civil.war/index.html?hpt=C1

What would have happened if Moammar Kadafi's forces had captured them? Would the U.S. military turn its back on its pilots? And what if Mr. Kadafi's forces capture or hold other Americans hostage? Would the U.S. government attempt to get them back? And if so, would it use negotiation and non-violent actions or dispatch ground forces?

In the Libyan War, Mr. Obama promised the American people something in "no boots on the ground" he is hard pressed to honor.
