Am I Crazy?

The U.S. is fighting three wars and I can't tell you why. If President Obama and Congress are judged by their actions, either they are crazy or I am. It seems insane to attack the men, women and children of Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, and to occupy two of those three nations.

All those funerals there and here. All the disfigured young people, all the orphans, all the brain damaged and shell shocked people and for what? What has been or is being gained by all this bloodshed?

While to fund its war machine, the U.S. is borrowing heavily, packed Social Security with IOU's and is firing teachers, police and firefighters and ready to slash Medicare and Medicaid. And many of its giant corporations are shipping jobs overseas, while its CEO's reap huge bonuses and enjoy huge tax cuts.

It all seems insane. What do you think?
