Why Are The U.S. Wars Being Fought?

Men, women and children are being killed or maimed and children are being orphaned. 150,000 U.S. families are on pins and needles, each day and night wondering if their young soldier will be the next casualty? Surely no one believes in "Operation Iraqi Freedom" or "Operation Enduring Freedom" any more for both wars are U.S. military occupations with governments it keeps in power.

The U.S. no longer even markets those phrases or justifies the wars to the American people. Yet the financial costs of those wars and paying the staggering costs for the military industrial complex behind them is draining what is left of America's financial resources. So why are those wars being fought?
