A Personal Celebration Of Life

If we appreciate what we have, even if only for a few moments each day, it becomes a personal celebration of life, one that brings us joy and meaning.

Perhaps that celebration could be as simple as calling those closest to us to say "I love you," and hearing their happiness, as they listen to us, for what greater joy could there be than a message of love.

But a personal celebration can also be as simple as being grateful for our eyes that see, if we are sighted, or ears that hear if we have that blessing. It is being grateful if we can walk, or use our arms or have healthy bodies.

A personal celebration can be laughter with friends or being captivated by the scent of a rose.

A personal celebration can be as simple as enjoying each morsal of our food, being thankful for our home and its comforts or having a job we treasure. It can be in recognition of our lifetime of personal growth and in recognizing our sense of purpose.

A personal celebration of life calls to us from our souls and beckons to us from our hearts and it cannot be ignored by anyone attuned to one's higher being and seeking a joyous life.

I started a CELEBRANTS group to focus on the positive and chose to close down the group because of negative attitudes so I started a uke group and closed that down because of downbeat peeps so I have learned that INDIVIDUALS need to focus on their individuality in a positive/upbeat manner and avoid those who would leach energies and take only so I agree, also, that life is a battle and to offset the negative thoughts, positives must constantly be applied repeatedly for the negatives are capable of disempowering. Thanks for your site.

Joyce, Your heart is in the right place. Express yourself by your loving actions and you will reach people in the way you had hoped to do.
