Learning From A Rosebud

At times when I'm anxious for something to happen, something that is not an emergency, I recall a valuable lesson from a rosebud.

Every rose in its magnificence comes from a rosebud. Sometimes that rosebud takes an extended time before it blossoms into a rose.

But if we lose patience and try to force that rosebud to blossom, we damage the bud which then never becomes all that it might have been, or perhaps it even dies.

Therefore, with patience I set aside my anxiety in whatever I desire and allow nature to take its course.
