Babies On Airplanes

Most of us have flown on flights in which babies have cried, irritating us and other passengers. But rather than becoming irritated, a wiser approach is:

To smile, and to be pleasant and as helpful as possible. Those parents don't mean for their children to cause a problem but at 30,000 feet in the air, it is a reality.

Instead of being resentful, think of yourself as a Zen Buddhist Master, warm and calm, bringing as much positive energy as possible. Rise to the occasion and your energy will have a positive effect on everyone, a godsend under the circumstances.
