"Lots a chipper," is how Anne's and my close friend, a woman who is nearly 101 years of age described herself, as we spoke on the phone today.
She has so much energy and good cheer, that "lots a chipper" is a very good description of how she lives her life.
Her genes have played a role in her longevity, but I believe having a positive attitude and a good nature have also been key not only to her longevity but to her happiness.
