At one time, we or our families were refugees, and we were eventually accepted by others in where we settled. As in the past, today wars and poverty are causing many people to seek resettlement elsewhere. We can respond in fear and reject them, or we can follow our consciences and welcome them as we too would hope to be welcomed.
