Peace

As is often true, the forces of war are demanding more war, in order to free hostages, set a cease fire, and negotiate a peace. Currently, I am speaking of Hamas/Gaza - Israel, and the U.S. But whenever you read this, just fill in the names of the latest combatants.

The best time to negotiate for peace is before a conflict occurs. Resolve differences rather than letting them escalate into violence. This current conflict is a fine example.

War is never the way to peace.

Peace comes from acting in good faith, understanding the other person's needs and resolving differences in ways that benefit everyone involved. It requires compromise and its foundation is love and respect, not threats and violence.
