How You Can Find Greater Peace And Tranquility In Your Life.

To find greater peace and tranquility, please come with me on a brief journey.

Last winter under bright blue skies on a crisp sunny day, there was a tiny sparrow perched on a twig outside my window. The twig had small green leaves surrounded by little purple flowers. The sparrow, I'll call him Sammy, had teeny brown feathers, but what was most striking was on top of his head, there was a bright orange circle the size of a thumbnail. It glowed like that of a glorious sunset after a heavy rain.

His breast beheld a similar circular burst of orange and at that moment, resting on a twig, Sammy seemed so tranquil, as if he hadn't a care in the world. Soon because of him, for a few moments neither did I.

Near you there is another Sammy perched on a twig awaiting your attention, ready to touch your heart.

But there's more. If we close our eyes, we can let the warmth of the sun uplift our spirits, or we can hear the patter of raindrops falling from the heavens, cleansing the air and nourishing the soil, as it re instills life in all of nature.

We can listen to the rustling of leaves twittering in the wind, or to the call of the birds and we can inhale the scent of a thousand flowers blooming in the distance, carried to us in the breeze.

These joyful moments in every day life await us if only we will embrace them. If we do, our lives will be more peaceful and we will find greater meaning, inspired by the beauty that seduces our souls.
