There are many Americans who feel the Iranian war is justified. They include media commentators and online critics, people with no intention of getting in the middle of the bloodshed.
We are now risking World War III for a purpose the people who put us into this war cannot define for us. Despite being required by the U.S. Constitution to obtain Congressional approval for any war:
There was no time to involve the U.S. Congress, nor did they want to disclose confidential military information to that Congress.
Stranding American citizens all over the Middle East was indicative of the lack of planning that preceded this war. Clearly, we learned nothing from Afghanistan or Iraq of the necessity of doing extensive planning before any action is ever taken.
It seems like only yesterday that Elon Musk was involved in slashing the size and cost of government. Now, with this war, bombs and costs are exploding, and the lives of men, women and even small children are being destroyed.
Violence and chaos are never justifiable; they only lead to more of the same.
With Love To All - Dick
