Iran is enriching uranium for what it and U.S. intelligence says is for nuclear power. But that doesn't stop Israel, which has nuclear weapons, from threatening to attack Iran because of its potential to develop a nuclear weapon, nor the U.S., which has by far the world's biggest nuclear arsenal, from structuring strong financial sanctions against Iran and keeping a military attack as an option.
Are we as mankind crazy? Is sitting down together to talk out our differences not an option? It must not be because we are not doing it. But potentially jeopardizing the lives of 74 million Iranian men, women and children, and of 7 1/2 million Israeli men, women and children is an option? Are we just cave men with bigger weapons and larger egos? Is this how far our global civilization has advanced, that we would destroy our own brethren in the name of peace? If so, may God, Allah or a Supreme Being in whatever form save us from ourselves.
