Why Worship Actors?

It seems odd to me that so many people worship actors, actors being simply people pretending to be someone else.

Instead of wasting one's time and emotions in the worship of actors, think of how the world could be uplifted if only people reached out to give others a helping hand, for not only would they help others but in the process they would uplift their own lives as well.
