The Illusion Of Superiority

The world teaches us to strive for superiority, to be the best at something, to win at all costs, for only in being the best do we have value.

But that is an illusion, one that brings sorrow and frustration. Reality is:

We are all making this journey of life together. Whenever we help others, we help ourselves as in our hearts and through our actions we express our love for them, love being the essence of all life.

Don't waste your life in a false sense of superiority, a superiority that will soon be forgotten by everyone including you once that life is over.

Instead, measure your life by the unsung helping hand you consistently gave and by the way you made others feel in your expression of love for them.

And know, as each succeeds, so do you.
