A Wiser Viewpoint

We each tend to see the world in a narrow perspective: one of how events affect us. We curse our "bad luck," our misfortunes or mistakes and often we fear the unknown.

But if we look back across our lives, we discover how all the pieces fit together, whether at the time we deemed them good or bad and we recognize how we've grown from them.

If only we could broaden our viewpoint to understand that so much of what we cherish resulted from the challenges we've overcome, we would rejoice in our journey and with gratitude notice that we are fulfilling our purpose in being here.
