"Today is a dismal day," someone said to me. "No it's not," I replied with a smile. "It's just overcast." And then I began pointing out some of the wonders of the day.
It's interesting how quickly we can become negative because of some minor aspect of our day. The truth is:
The negativity is already within us, just seeking a way to express itself to our detriment and to the detriment of those around us. Think of how much better it can be if we create an uplifting thought within us and use it to sweep the negativity away.
