An Environmental Twist

Rescuing the environment from the ills of mankind is very popular. That is:
Until people have to make changes in their lives. For example, many rain forests are being destroyed to raise livestock for slaughter so that people can have a plentiful supply of meat.

They see a hamburger as a hamburger and not that of an animal that thinks and feels, nor one that requires large amounts of grain and water.

It is easy to blame industrialists for the environmental problems that confront mankind, but not so easy to commit individually to the changes necessary to rescue our planet from ourselves.

Yes dear reader, I am a vegetarian.
