He Is My Son

Now that I'm 70 years of age, most people are younger than me, many of them young enough to be my son or daughter.

When people do things I feel are foolish, rather than become angry, I tell myself he is my son or she is my daughter, and it becomes easier to smile and forgive whatever this person has done as I would forgive my own children.
