How To Find Inner Peace

To find inner peace, many people listen to or read the words of great scholars. And yet inner peace still eludes them. Why?

Because seeking inner peace for one's self is not enough. It must be applied for the benefit of others, an act of compassion and generosity, not one of selfishness.

I recently read a story about an enormously wealthy U.S. lawyer, one who also claims to be a spiritual medium with the gift of connecting people with the dead. But rather than share this gift for free, he demands an expensive "donation," from those desperate to make contact.

It is unfortunate that so many people like this gentleman seek for themselves.

The key for attaining inner peace is being of service, giving to others and recognizing that the reward is in the act itself. Take joy in giving from the heart and in uplifting lives.
